Baton Rouge Pavarotti di Habashat, ruddy Abyssinian Male

An Internet service provided by the Abyssinian Breed Club Europe

Disclaimer: Every effort has been made to enter information accurately. However, since data has come from many different sources like catalogs, certified & uncertified pedigrees, other databases, etc. they may be more or less accurate. Typos and misspellings may exist. It is not possible to maintain all titles on every cat. The information available at the time of entry is what was entered. Please also note, that titles used within this database mostly refer to either CFA or Fife titles but not exclusively. Many cats may also hold multiple titles from different association which may not be apparent from this database.

In order to keep consistency, cat names in this database should appear as follows: Cattery name (if existant) followed by the cat's own name followed by eventually an affix followed by the registration # followed by coat color. Please note, that many catteries (mostly from Europe) have their cattery name registered as an affix which means it appears originally behind the cat's own name. Some cats may have been registered with different association with different cattery names. DOB should appear as D.M.YYYY (European style).

If you have an Abyssinian that is not in the database and you would like it included, if you want to share photos, or if you find out about erroneous data that should be corrected, please e-mail me with the relevant information at Baton Rouge Abyssinians, or use submission form below and it will be included in the next refresh. That goes for title updates as well.

Finally, I would like to thank Jim Trethewey of Pedigree Central for his generous help; without him, I would never have been able to make this database run!

Important note: Information provided by this database is for personal use only!
Please, do not publish online! Anyone trying to mine data from this database and especially publish it elsewhere will be excluded from further access permanently! Try to limit your requests to about 50 records per day, otherwise you may be blocked as well!

It only takes a few simple steps to display your Abyssinian pedigree.

Select the number of generations you will want displayed in the pedigree. For most computer printers printing in Landscape mode, 4 generations is the best choice.
** PLEASE DESCRIBE THIS IMAGE **

Enter the name, or partial name, of the Abyssinian to search for.

If you use slow search, entering "Baton" will find all Abyssinians whose names contain the letters "Baton", including all those containing "BatonRouge". Slow search is more thorough and accurate.

If you use fast search, you must provide a full word (not a partial word) for matches to show up; for example, entering "Baton" will find all Abyssinians whose names contain the word "Baton " (e.g., "Baton Rouge" with a space in between) but would not find those whose names contain "BatonRouge" (with no space).

For more successful searches, please use a word longer than 3 letters and omit any 's at the end.

You can also search via registration numbers, but in that case you MUST use slow search.

If you want to find CFA, National or Regional Winners of a particular show season you need to enter CFA plus the show season you are looking for, e.g. CFA 2004-05 and use slow search. At the moment the winners from 2013-14 back to the 1987-88 show season are entered but more will follow as time allows. If your winner is missing in an already entered show season it has not happened on purpose, please email me for correction!

NewBrand new: The database will now also contain copies of original pedigrees of especially European bred cats!!

To see which ones are already online, type "Original Pedigree" into the search field. Then, when selecting a cat, click the hyperlink "Original Pedigree" which can be found right to the registration number. Currently, there are 60 pedigrees online, but more will be added over the next couple of weeks and months. So, check frequently to see what is available!

Your contribution by donating copies of pedigrees will be greatly appreciated and heartfelt thanks goes to those, that already have done so!

NewYou can now get a list of all CFA Distinguished Merit Abyssinians by typing "Distinguished Merit" into the search field. It you want to get a list of the past show season's DMs, then type "Distinguished Merit CFA Show Season 2011-12", for any other year replace the digits for the year. If you want to get the past show season's (2013-14) CFA Awards listed, just hit search button now.
